I fell into a burning ring of fire and I was totally happy because it's really cold outside right now.

Inexplicably, I have had songs from Walk the Line stuck in my head all morning. I can't imagine why. I haven't seen that movie in 87 years.

I am feeling very anxious today, and it's because I'm flying to Maryland later this evening and I'm at work right now and my stuff is in the car and WHAT IF SOMEONE STEALS IT. I thought about dragging my suitcase in, but I'd have to drag it up a couple flights of stairs and . . . no, thank you.

So, you know, The Anxious is because of the traveling and I'm pretty sure it won't go away until about 8:30 tonight, when I finally make it to my hotel room. Actually, if I'm being completely honest, I'm pretty sure it won't be gone until I get home Thursday night. Because I JUST REALIZED I'm going to miss The Office since I'll be on a plane when it's on. Unfair. Is it even new this week, though? I have no idea. I used to know these things. Oh, well.

Also, I've decided to give up caffeine. Or maybe not give it up (I don't want to be a quitter), but at least cut back on it because I drink way, way too much of it. So I only had one cup of coffee this morning. I don't think this week was a very good week to cut back on caffeine, but it should at least help with the anxiety, right? Right? Who knows.

I totally remembered to wear slip on shoes today, though. I hate going to the airport and having to take of my shoes and then TIE them all over again. Because then I feel like a jackass for holding up the line and I can feel the people behind me trying to kill me with their eyeballs and you know what? That's uncomfortable.

Are you flying Jet Blue? Because if you do, they have satellite TV so you could watch the Office. Thank god for TiVo...he'll record it for you!

So, I take it you don't like to travel. I find this sad because traveling is wonderful and your living in Ohio gives you so much more reason to want to travel AWAY. Especially this time of year when the wind whips and makes the cold barren plain colder and barren-er and plainer.

Embrace the traveling, Jennie. It'll bring you nothing but joy and stuff.

My in-laws had never seen the office! They saw an episode at our house this weekend and asked why Dwight and Angela kept going in the back storage room if she was engaged to another man. BECAUSE.
So we got them seasons 1-3 for Xmas.

Also I do not drink ANY caffeine. Not 1 single mg. I haven't for 3 years now. And I'm still crazy.

Traveling alone is fun. I like to pretend like I am SUPER important and on a SUPER IMPORTANT business trip. AND since you are kinda going to DC you can act like you have a SUPER IMPORTANT BUSINESS MEETING at THE PENTAGON.

Heidi, unfortunately, no, but maybe the airline I'm on does that, too! Note to self: find out what airline you're on before leaving this afternoon.

Sir, no, I LOVE to travel. Just not, you know, with my coworkers.

Tam, I won't be alone, but I'll pretend I'm important. I would like to give up caffeine so I don't get headaches when I don't drink it. Cause that's probably bad.

Aw, Jennie, maybe you are on the plane right NOW. I hope your trip goes well. I second the thought of pretending you are super-important. I do that too! Because if you are flying, that means you need to be somewhere in a hurry, and that means you are a VIP. Own it!

Also, where in Maryland are you going?? I am from Maryland. Now I feel a little homesick. :(
