story of my life

Joe and I are meeting with a mortgage lender tomorrow to see if buying a house right now is feasible. We're supposed to bring copies of our bank statements, paychecks, and our 2008 and 2009 W-2s. I had no trouble locating my 2009 W-2 because, um, I just got it, but I cannot find my 2008 W-2 ANYWHERE.

I did, however, find the original copy of The Evil Summer so, you know, that's something.

Oooh, this is really exciting! (the house part, though Evil Summer is exciting, too)

can you re-print them online somewhere?

Yeah, as long as you have your 1099 (?) from your taxes, that works too. They just wanted to know your adjusted gross income for that year. In fact, you probably could just tell them off the top of your head. They don't really need the proof until you're in a commitment.

How did it go?!

You should yell at the bank people, 'THIS IS OHIO! YOU SHOULD BE PAYING US TO BUY A HOUSE HERE!'

Seriously, with the economy the way it is in the buckeye state, bankers should hug people like you and Joe for wanting to stay.

Bankers should hug you and Joe, just because.

Good luck! That's got to be a crazy awesome feeling. I'm referring to the house, but The Evil Summer is pretty amazing too.
